Members


The overall goal of the proposal is the integrated modelling and simulation for the computational optimisation of sheet-bulk metal forming processes. To this end two focal points shall be pursued during the first phase of the proposal: Focal Point I aims at theformulation, implementation and experimental/computational identification of an anisotropic elasto-plastic constitutive model at large strains. Focal Point II embraces the development of a continuum-mechanical/computational method for the optimal determination of the initial shape of formed functional components.
