The focus in the third phase of the TP A7 is on the holistic consideration of the process chain in the production of sheet bulk metal formed components. First of all, the production of components with high functional surface quality and the influence of friction with oscillation superposition will be investigated. The use of the components is to be analyzed on the effects of tool wear on the component quality. The use of components will also be investigated in the context of the rest deformability on oscillation superimposed produced components. As a result, the following sub goals are derived:

  • Basic experiments on the influence of oscillation parameters on friction and surface quality using ring crushing tests.
  • Transfer of the identified oscillation parameters to the process for the production of sheet bulk metal formed components with high surface quality and functionality.
  • Consideration of tool wear in the production of sheet bulk metal formed components.
  • Identification of the residual deformability of oscillation-free and superimposed manufactured components in order to make statements about the area of application of the components.
  • Validation of the developed methods on the oscillation superimposed SBMF process.
